A Short Personal History

Richard Austin Guidry (goes by Austin) is a systems administrator at ARi (Automotive Robotics) in Peoria, Illinois. I was promoted internally from the help desk position in June 2024 after excelling for seven months.

A lifelong learner, I have worked in many different fields, from retail to library work to being an audio-visual technician (stagehand and camera, audio, playback operator) and other vocations throughout high school and university before transitioning into education.

After university, I lived in China from 2011-2023 to teach various subjects such as sociology, Chinese-Western Culture, English as a foreign language, history, and more in different regions of China from the university level to the primary school level.

(Preparing grade 10 students for the Cambridge IGCSE Sociology exam)
